I tried a similar thing when I first got into henna; it was the Rainbow or Light MOuntain brand I believe. Never got more than a bluish/greenish/greyish light stain that i thought looked good on my skin, but i never made it get any darker, even w/black tea. This was the beginning of my early frustration with henna, but then again from normal henna all i could get was a pale orange. Oh yeah - a local natural dye expert also told me that was henna mixed with Indigo, and that indigo is not good for you. FYI. good luck A : I found black henna powder and brown henna powder at my local health : food store, I asked them what was in it and they said that it was all : natural with no chemiclas. : I bought some black and tried it out but the stain was pretty light, : even though it was a black/gray instead of orange. It only lasted a : couple of days. : My idear is to add this black henna with pure henna to give the pure : henna a little darker stain. Do you think this would work?
