Hey there! I found some sucess with what I think you are talking about. I used a piece of paper towel and put it on top of a piece of wax paper. Then I soaked it with lemon-sugar. I waited until that was dryish- still flexible, but no extra liquid. Then I hennaed it! Really easy. Plus, you can place a design below the wax paper and trace it. Once the henna was begining to dry out, I lemon-sugared it a little more, then let it dry a little more. I placed it where I wanted it ( I found out how hard it is to be still for back designs!) and wrapped over it like I would any other design. As long as it isn't too wet when you apply it, I've gotten really good results- no awful smearing or anything. Another method that someone else came up with is just using a ballpoint pen and drawing on normal paper what you want. It transfers pretty easily with jsut some rubbing alchol. I've done that a few times when a friend wanted a specific design- works well!! I hope I explained that well enough- good luck and happy henna- ing!! -Kat PS- Just give the free-hand stuff a try, though. If you can doodle, you can henna some cute designs. : Thank you for your help. I still would like to know more about this : being able to put a henna design on light paper and then place it on : the skin, (areas difficult to freehand on yourself). I have seen the : lady who's site it is post here and also wondered if anyone else has : tried this with any sucess? I have been able to learn so much : reading your posts. It feels like it will take me forever to learn : even just the basics.
