Maria, I never to this day have been able to get a good flow through a bottle (unless the tip is fatter than I like). I have had very good luck with disposable plastic pastry bags ("carrot bags"). I cut a hole big enough to put a #1 pastry tip in mine. The tip still makes fine lines, but the funnel shape has better physics to it for pushing out clogs than a long, needle-shaped tip. Plus you can feel a lump inside a bag & smush it with your fingers before it becomes a problem. Catherine uses no tip, just a tiny hole, & says that this allows her to squeeze any clog right out the end. And as she said, another sifting might turn up some little bits you did not know were there. If you do not have a source for the bags, email me your snail mail address and I will send you a couple to try. I believe you can also get them from Catherine's link above. P.S. I find bags easier to work with when they only have 1-2 tablespoons of paste in them & are rolled down nice & tight around the henna (till a little bit is starting to ooze out on its own). Then you can squeeze lightly w/ one hand & the henna will come out instead of squishing back up toward the top of the bag. I secure the top with a butterfly clip so I can roll it down more & reclip as needed. Good luck.
