I'm afraid I can't offer legal help, but you may wish to use
something like aloe or aquaphor healing ointment (the later you can
find in the hand lotion department, or at a pharmacy), and once the
infection clears up you could use vitamin e oil on the area to help
prevent scarring. I'm a big fan of aloe (straight from the plant) but
I've seen aquaphor prescribed a lot for burns.
