I had similar problems with mine. I went to the beach, saw everybody had these black Henna tattos and thought it would be a fun thing to do. My henna artist did ask me if I was allergic to any dyes, etc.. I have a real tatto on my ankle and have never had any problems with it for 6 years. So I said no. The Henna has faded and my skin has cleared up some.. however, I had a band around my upper arm. So it looks like a brand now or a very faded tatto. I have been using aloe which is helping with the healing process, but had I known this, I would also warn others to stay away from it. Everybody at the beach just wants your money, and they don't tell you the dangers or even make you sign papers like I did when I got my tatto. Hope things work out for you....
