This year for my birthday party I had a henna party. I had all of my
women friends and their daughters over and we painted hands, feet,
arms, etc. I was also 6 weeks from delivering my first baby, so I was
pretty huge. Later on, when the guys got back, we ate and then
drummed and danced 'til about midnight. All in all a festive way both
to celebrate the big 3-0 and the arrival of my first child.
