Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'd heard of these people on a TV
program, (and in the photos, I noticed that they were hennaed) but
didn't know where to start the research...because documentries,
helpful as they are, don't come with bibliographies! (Nor do they
supply the correct spelling!)
My instinct is that men quit hennaeing in early adolescence because
these groups are well enough known that men are really uncomfortable
with any possible association with them.
