You fool...... who said anything about OUR, yes OUR tradition being meaningless. Fools like you exploit it. Its just another fad to you all as Layla was trying to say. You steal from the native Americans, the Asians, of course the Africans and African Americans and now us. Find some beauty in you own heritage if you can and leave ours alone.. ......Or you'll feel the wrath! And where do you get off using the ape comparison. Did you evolve from one? Why did I ask the question...its so obvious! People have been wiping their butts since the beginning, just like the apes picking their bugs. This was called common sense... or rather instinct. You sneeze, you wipe your nose. Then again Europeans have been known not only to steal oops borrow from other cultures, but also not to bathe. What is common sense to us is not always common to people like you. "The Mockers" As for henna.....that is not an instinct that we were born with, so that comparison with the apes you used was irrelevant. And use apes to compare yourself with next time. But even they respect the territory of others. So...next time, find your own symbolism or way to adorn yourself without exploiting the deeply rooted belief
