Medical question: a thought

When I had surgery about a decade ago, they removed all my nail and
toenail polish because supposedly,it is necessary to be able to
observe the patient's nails for color changes while under anesthesia.
So, my question is what about hennaed nails? Does anyone who is
knowledgeable have any thoughts on the subject? I was just wondering,
what would happen if someone with hennaed nails were to have surgery.
Would it be a serious problem?
