As i'm sure you'll find out, it depends on the recipie you use, how long you leave your henna on the skin, how well you treat it, and then afterwards, friction, harsh soaps, and so on, read jeremy's Henna Page and you will find a wealth of info on Mehndi, as well as other links that are very informative.
