Hey again, Ever get the feeling that some people just never read Jeremy's nice intro on the top of this page? I have learned *so* much about traditional henna from this forum, and the questions on the street (so to speak) that I get are about traditional henna (perhaps in untraditional patterns, 'cause I'm not overly good at the intricate stuff) - I always refer people to this page because it is such a rich resource. --Anne, who actually got to henna her mom's foot the other night and it turned out pretty good too even though the straight lines ended up a little squiggly : Although people will inevitably drop onto this forum with questions : about black henna, and its reasonable to answer their questions : briefly, it is, if I understand the intention here, set up for the : purpose of exploring the history, techniques and traditions of : TRADITIONAL HENNA. : There are enough complexities with traditional henna, and enough : enthusiasts for it to keep this forum very busy....and distractions : away from the topic onto black and colored hennaes are often : contentious, bewildering to newcomers and not helpful to traditional : practitioners. PPD black henna is best discussed elsewhere. If you : are a ppd black henna artist, surely there is a better place to : discuss the techniques and problems than on this forum. Go there.
