I use coffee when I mix my paste. It seems to help with a darker out come. You should contact Phoenix and Arabeth about their book.
On the subject of Henna Oil... It does seem to help. Especially when I apply it to the skin before I apply the henna paste. I have experimented a lot with differnt things. Mustard seed oil mixed with eucalyptus oil seems to work well too. Good luck.
