: So, I'm about to try henna for the first time and am trying to think : of the best way for me to apply it. I've heard about the plastic : bag, and the tubes, toothpicks, etc. How about a syringe with and IV : catheter tip on it. It seems like I'd have more control and since : the tip's made of plastic and is not a needle I have no chance of : puncturing myself. Does this sound reasonable? Anyone else ever try : it? If you want to go the route of medical supplies for henna, try using a syringe (altho you may have problems with clogging, see CCJ's post above). I suggest that the opening be at least 0.5mm. I use the Jacquard bottle (1/2 oz. gutta applicator bottle) with a metal nib (comes in .5, .7 and .9 mm diameter opening). Great for doing henna, and then screws shut for air-tight storage.
