: 2. How do you folks fill the blessed things? One of the books says to : make a cone, then fill them with a thin stream, but that seems very : wasteful and tedious. If I try mixing in a plastic bag and then : filling from that, the top plugs before the bottle is full (and : usually the bag seam splits, too). : (Anyone care to invent a combination syringe/bottle, with a screw- in : plunger so you can push out the air, then leave it in place while : using the thing like a bottle, and so not be re-filling constantly?) I usually use a little funnel...I dump a bunch of henna paste in the funnel and because it is too thick to flow into the bottle, I squeeze the bottle to suck the henna down into the bottle, and use a rubber spatula to help push more paste down to be sucked in by the bottle. The problem with this is that you can only fill the bottle about 80% full. You can also just put the mouth of the bottle into your bowl of henna paste and suck the paste up into the bottle like a turkey baster. Or maybe use a small baster to suck up the paste and then squirt it into the bottle (I've got to try this!). I also sell jacquard bottles and tips on my website at http://www.kenzi.com/hennapurchase.htm. I have a special deal if you buy a bottle with three different sized tips. Happy hennaing.... Kenzi
