I've used an old eyeliner pencil to draw my designs before hennaing
them on occation. It doesn't interfear with the henna itself and is
really handy when trying out new patterns since it will give you a
pretty good idea of what the finished work will look like. Also very
handy when having someone else henna a design on you in places you
can't reach well (like the small of the back) you can check the
design long before they actually apply any henna.
