heating lemon/clove/sugar juice

i usually add cloves to the lemon sugar juice thats applied while the
henna is drying. i add lots of sugar, and heat it up so it
caramelizes and makes a nice candy coating to protect the henna. i
tend to make lots, and the cloves soak in the juice...the next time i
henna, i have got more clove power soaking into the henna. (of
course, it smells really nice too!)
