I use boiling water to mix mine for that reason. I didn't find that
coffee or tea had any noticable effect, but adding clove oil did.
Actually, clove oil did second best - better than eucalyptus, but not
as good as clove/eucalyptus mix.
Another reason to not use coffee - I hate the smell of coffee, so that
alone would keep ME up at night!
