I think the real key to nice color on fabric is heat. I had a real
washout on Sunday -- and I think it was because I was too nervous
about using high heat on a such a pretty silk blouse. Last night I
practically fried the henna on with the highest setting my iron could
go before spontaneously combusting...The stain went a gorgeous dark
chocolate brown on chartreuse silk. And, it stayed that way even
after I washed out the remaining bits of paste. Wee haw!
