: Has anyone used okra in their mix? I have heard that it makes the : henna pull into lines more easily. I tried adding fenugreek seeds to my boiling liquid and got a texture similar to what I'd expect from okra (but without having to think about dealing with actual okra). Smelled wonderful, and the texture was interesting - but I didn't try pulling it to make fine lines, as Roome describes. Looks like it would work. I don't think I'm prepared to drape strands on two fingers and pull them thin before laying them down, but I think I can get the same effect by putting on a line and pulling thin lines from the tip of my applicator. (Catherine - how are you getting fine lines? Just squeezing them out that way, or are you pulling or manipulating them somehow?)
