I have henna on my hands constantly. Even here in MN you would think
most people wouldn't know what Mehndi was. Well I find people all
over the malls, co-ops and everywhere we go that compliment me on my
designs. I especially love it when ethnic people say things..it makes
me feel good and that I am paying tribute to their culture properly!
I have had so many people say crap to me about my designs. They want
to know if it hurt, and if they are real tattoos. Those are the 2 I
get the most. I tell people, no it's "henna", it stains for a couple
of weeks...it's painless. Then if they are cool, or seem to be
relatively intelligent I explain further. For the most part, people
that are stupid just bug me, i know i'm bitchy but hey....it's me :)
