I also tried this, though more casually and on the same foot. Didn't
see a difference. Tried both a topical analgesic (camphor and menthol
- smells great!) and dissolved crystals of "edible camphor." Also
mixed some of the dissolved camphor into my paste and saw no
difference but the camphor paste definitely felt different - cooler,
slightly tingly. However, these were very casual trials, and I wasn't
sure I had the right stuff. Sure sounds like it's worth more work!
