:Some customers have told us that they use a blow dryer to warm the : skin and then apply the henna paste, occassionally zapping the design : again a few times during the period they have it on. Keeping the : design moist with the oil keeps the henna from falling off. It works. The hair-dryer thing is tricky. We think using it on the skin before is good idea, but AFTER can be a problem. It tends to dry the henna paste out way too fast, hence stopping the chemical action and the transfer of dye substance to the skin. Jayshree Nensey says never to use the hair-dryer. She uses a small space heater to create general warmth for the customer in the work area.
