Do not use commercial hair dye over the henna. It could come out
even more brassy, or damage your hair. When I used a too orangey
henna on my hair, I applied another henna-- ash brown-- and left it
on for almost 2 hours. All the red was gone! The key is to get a
color darker than the orange.
