Damn! I missed that! Someone in the script department must have noticed that one of henna's originating tradition threads (Anatolian and Ugaritic) start up with the "Lillith" group of deities that requires a sacrifice of one's firstborn to the goddess in times of cataclysmic disaster. KEWHL!!!! (Deep background ... I didn't know if anyone else had found this stuff .... if someone else has found these texts too, that's really comforting, I was beginning to wonder if I was on another planet!) There are several extremely early henna traditions ( 7000 B.C.E to 150 B.C.E.) (related to Anath, Lillith, Tanith, Asherah) that required the sacrifice of one's firstborn to the deity for as an offering to save the tribal group in times of great calamity. This tradition is echoed in the Eid el Adha Muslim hennaeing holiday, Easter (the firstborn of God) Jewish Passover , and the Adonis myth (all occurring at about the same calendar time).
