: Hello old friends. I have been sooo out of the henna loop, but : finally got the time to do some last weekend at Mom's (you know she : loves the henna). Did such a beautiful design on her foot (which, : sadly turned out orange and did not darken - but that's another : issue) that she was inspired to pick up a cone! That's right, Mom : the guinea pig hennaed me. A lower back design that was very : impressive for a first time (her generation knows how to frost a : cake)... AND came out quite a nice medium-dark brown. Darker than : mine did on her (heavier lines). She felt so hip & so proud - I told : her she should go tell the forum. She declined (probably doesn't : want to show me up). : Unfortunately, I had a reaction to my old reliable New Skin & tape : wrap. Blisters and everything. Cleared up fast and did not show up : everywhere the tape touched, so maybe it was mechanical trauma from : ripping off the VERY well adhered tape rather than an allergy? Was : it revenge for the skin I ripped off the bottom of her foot that : time?? Was not the henna. Showed up around the design, not on it. : Anyway, I had to brag for her. (Left 2 cones in her fridge ... will : Mom become an addict????)
