Yes. Recipe is nothing unusual....it just requires VERY GOOD fresh henna, an overnight wrap, NS and a hot sweat under the wrap. I have reddish black coming up now on my hands with henna from www.castleart.com . I mixed it with only lemon juice, and set the paste covered with clingwrap by the warmest place in the house (80F+) for 12 hours. I applied the henna, NS'ed it, and wrapped. Left it on for 7 hours, sleeping, with 4 blankets, and the thermostat way up (sweatty, sweatty under the wrap). It's 20 hours later, and the design is deep burgundy, heading for black. I have many photos of reddish blackhenna. Email me if you want'em. It's not unusual at all to get that color if your henna is fresh enough and you're hot enough.
