Do you really want things like acidic lemon juice on the thin delicate skin surrounding your eye? Do you really want reddish- orange eyeliner? This is what you would get using natural henna. Using colored or black henna and you may never see again. Some of the chemicals used in black henna in particular are very harsh and shouldn't be used on any skin let alone the eye I think this would look bizarre at best and probably make you look grossly unhealthy or hungover. Even if it wouldn't irritate the eyes and I'm pretty sure it would, I can't imagine trying to leave it set long enough to stain without blinking and screwing it up. Styles and popular colors of eye makeup come and go. I think I'll stick with makeup. You can have a new face each time you apply. Try www.castleart.com. I have always been happy with their product and many on this forum have ordered from them with prompt results. Shanon : I'm interested in finding out if Henna can be used near the eyes as a : semi-permanent eyeliner? This method seems far cheaper than the $300- : $400 permanent eyeliner tatoo and easier to change should one not : like the results. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'd : also like to find out if any shops in Indiana sale Henna and about : how much it runs. I've found some websites, but mainly out of : California.
