How long does it keep?

If you make too much henna for the design you want, can you cover
what's left and put it in the fridge for later? How long will it
retain enough tannin to work? Someone on the information pages
mentioned that covered, room temperature henna keeps for a few days
and then begins to mold.. don't want that though!
