While browsing on Amazon, I came across a book called "Behind The
Courtyard Door-The Daily Life of Tribeswomen in Northern Morocco", by
Ursula Kingsmill Hart.

Being the curious type, I bought it. YAHOO!

Upon a quick scan through, there was a henna marriage ritual
involving eggs, a henna plaster for the womans' delicate parts after
childbirth, a henna/scorpion sting remedy, and a dressing of a womans
body with henna in preparation for her funeral. I probably missed
some things in my haste to speed read.
