No.. your hair won't smell/look like it's been hennaed forever. Heads seem to exfoliate pretty fast (dandruff is an accumulation of the dead skin that's always flaking off) and a good shampoo/scalp massage followed by brushing your hair will un-henna the scalp skin even faster. Also, I gather from the dialogue that certain soaps, cleansers and shampoos destroy henna designs *anyway*, so if you want to get rid of both the color and smell, just wash your hair really well for about two weeks... this stuff is a temporary herbal pigment after all, not a packet of lye :) Speaking of which, what *does* henna smell like?
