You could either ask them to limit their requests to a certain degree
of complexity (e.g. no full-hand Pakistani lace patterns!) or provide
them with a menu of the designs you can/will do (have lots available
to choose from) with the caveat that you will elaborate and
personalize a little so everyone at the party doesn't have the same
mehndi. (Sounds an awful lot like tattoo or facepaint flash though..
