Sirius-ly thinking about henna get-togethers

CCJ's post and everyone's talk about the gathering got me thinking on
the subject. Sounds like a great event...I am going to see if I can
make it.

A lot of others out there seem to be seeking events (or seeking to
create events) in their area. I would love to pull together a henna
event here in NYC. Things are expensive here, especially space, so
we would probably have to do a mass henna exhibition/demonstration at
a festival or street fair. There are lots of things going on in the
summer, things which allow vendors to set up. I do a lot of street
fairs here and could organize a booth (or two together) and anyone
who wants to come and henna clients en masse can do so (and either
chip in for booth space and materials, or give a percentage of what
they make that day). And then afterwards we can throw a little party
or go to a club.

If anyone is remotely interested in such a thing, contact me
(neqasha@kenzi.com). No commitment is needed right now, I would just
be curious to see how many others would be interested. And if there
is enough interest, I can keep you up-to-date on any developments.

And NYC is kind of like Brushwood, also clothing-optional!
