I like corsets, but I don't wear them myself. I made a couple for
myself, but I look a little silly in them. Past my "sell by date"
sort of thing. I LOVE the technical challenge of drafting and sewing
them, though, and had a blast doing them for some fashion shows. A few
people order them every year...weddings, proms, that sort of thing. My
daughter enjoys wearing corsets and looks stunning in them. She
probably has a dozen I've made....they suited her "so Goth I'm dead"
phase.
I've done corsets for cross-dressers, and though I can make a corset
that will strip up to 6" off the average waist, I don't make the
serious waist training type.
