Hey guys -- thought I'd just let you know about how the AMNH Body Art
exhibit was. Although the focus is obviously not henna art (which IS
only a small part of the body adornments that a person can do), it
gives a small but good treatment of the art. But more important to
the collection is the focus on all types of body decoration in all
cultures. It's actually a really neat exhibit -- featuring
tattooing, piercings, etc. My mom and I only had an hour to visit it
but we probably could have spent a lot longer there. Overall a great
experience for those of us who are obsessed with body art.
