Thanks for the feedback. Hmm. Guess that's not an experiment we're likely to see, then. Pity - after catching up on this forum and reading bits below about someone with salty skin, the effects of body chemistry seem interesting to me. Then again, the henna stains the dead skin, right? So the skin formed during the time of fasting (forms greatest in the wee hours?) would be at the surface, all ready to grab onto that henna (or not), so the henna done just after Ramadan might have slightly different characteristics. Oh, well - any variation is probably smaller than the usual variability. About Ramadan - yes, I'd heard that one abstains from other things than food during the day, so it does make sense that henna would wait until the month ends and the henna is more appropriately appreciated.
