Looks like a nice summary!
One standard trick for isolating houseplant bugs is to put the whole
thing in a large, clear plastic bag. I like turkey roaster bags, but
that may be excessively fancy. Breathe into the bag before sealing it
- give the plant an extra dose of CO2 (doesn't really need it, but
it can't hurt). The bag can help to keep the plant warmer, too - but
it will also hold in moisture, so you have to adjust the watering.
I'd put it in a bag unwatered, then add water a few days later, since
henna is supposed to grow in the desert.
