Actually, my teacher says that most women start bellydancing in their
early to mid 30s. So, you're not late at all!
I've been bellydancing for 5 years, but I've only recently gotten into
henna. However, since I tend to do cabaret style dancing, I probably
won't wear henna unless I'm wearing a gypsy costume and it will
probably be only for restaurant/bellydance party dancing, since a lot
of detail gets lost on stage. (If I want to highlight something with
black light, though, I will probably apply very big henna patterns.)
