Back when we were all discussing camphor and its use in henna paste,
I tried using White Flower Oil, which contains not only camphor, but
also peppermint oil (and a few other ingredients). I can't tell you
which ingredient in this oil helped, but addition of the oil did make
the stain darker.
Catherine would probably suggest to you that you do a side by side
test: one design with the oil, one without the oil. You should
probably do the tests one on each leg (or arm). If you do the two
tests too close together, one test might interfere with the other
(maybe because it warmed the whole arm and not just one of the
designs).
Let us know what you find if you do the test.
