Powder or stain?
If your powder is fresh and is refrigerated promptly (light proof,
moisture proof, air proof container) , it can say good for a year.

The duration of the stain depends on many factors. The biggest factor
is the depth of the outer layer, particulaly the granular layer, of
your skin.
Some parts of your body have a very thin stratum corneum and granular
layers (the outermost deadest part of your skin) and there the stain
lasts as little as 3 days. That's the chest, throat and such.
Other parts, like the palm and sole have a very deep granular layer,
and on the sole, the stain will last up to 12 weeks. Palms are usually
3-4 weeks. You shed and regrow skin cells every day; the henna stain
goes away as stained cells exfoliate and new skins rist up from the
basal layer.
Other factors are health, age, frequency of washing ... things like
that. If something makes your skin exfoliate faster, your henna goes
away faster.
