Thank you for all who have seen my post and even visited my site. I'm
still trying to figure out how to make it prettier so apologies to all
at the moment (this IS my first attempt) :-).
Unfortunately, my Meccan henna wouldn't stain that beautifully for a
short period. The henna I used in the picture was from Pakistan and
was sold pre-mixed and in a cone. The colour of the paste was light
green and it didn't have any funny unfamiliar smell. One thing for
sure, being a real cone roller dummy (and having abandoned the idea of
using a cone many times), using that cone was an ULTIMATE pleasure and
automatically made me a cone convert. My plastic bottles gave me
finger fatigue and I could never have drawn all that 4 designs using
them.
There's a logo on the cone that says *Beauty Mehndi Cone* with no
address and phone number. It's about 9" long and I paid S$10 (~US$6)
for it. The girl selling it told me it's from Pakistan and that she
gets fresh supplies regularly. I believe that the cone can henna at
least 10 - 15 full (but simple) hand motifs. The henna stains like
anything and I left the paste on for only 2 - 5 hours to get that dark
lovely colour. The colour was bright orange when first removed but
gets darker by the hour (as you watch). It was magical !
I'd like to offer this cone to anyone who is interested but I'm not
too sure when I can get them shipped out. I know I owed some people
(you know who you are) some henna and things but I have not done it
yet (so sorry, being in a new job can be SO hectic), my sincere
apologies to all of them. If there's anyone who's interested, please
do write to me and I'll see what I can do. I'd like to share this
wonderful henna with all my friends :-) ...
