I just found a 6 months old cone of henna paste in my freezer (I date mine when freezing them) that was hiding, last week I used it and it still works as brilliantly as it did six months ago. The color seems to be just as magnificent as it did then and so far the stain is still as dark as when I woke up the next day after applying it. I always freeze my left overs and even my pwder.( vaccum-packed then ziplocked then seran-wrapped then aluminum wrapped) it may be a little too wrapped, but it sure stays fresh for a looooong time. I still have some powder from 1 year ago that still makes some potent color with not much of a difference ( maybe only 1 tint lighter)from when I first got it.
