We've had discussions here at the forum before about henna that lasts
for (I think) three years, and it was divulged as being myth.

I've heard something about a semi-permanent tattoo as well, but the
one's I've heard of were put on with a needle and ink being put below
the skin, like a normal tattoo. I don't think that they had anything
to do with henna, simply because CCJ sent me some information about
henna (You know, the beginner FAQ's) and she said that Henna isn't
sterile and cannot be inserted beneath the skin safely. I doubt that
it would be used in a tattoo of that sort.

However, as for those other kinds of tattoos that last for about five
years and then fade, I do know they exist, but aren't very widely
applied. Where you can get them, I would ask at a tattoo parlor,
seeing as how they are put on in the exact same way (I'm pretty
sure). The only difference (Now don't quote me on this) is the ink
used. . . the ink in the semi-permanent tattoos fades and biodegrades
or something.
