Camphor spirit is the stuff ... camphor and alcahol .... but I think
all our experiments with it are in the lost archive before December.
Don't put camphor spirit directly into the paste unless you're going
to use it within the hour. It puts the paste into oxidation
hyperdrive, and it goes lumpy and does some other annoying things.
Dark, though.... I thnk the consensus was that a thorough prep with
camphor spirit was the best way to proceed, then henna as usual.
