I did get to henna my daughter last night ... she got blizzarded in at
our place and couldn't get home or to work. None of my family has
ever let me henna them before. I liked being able to hold her hand
for the first time since she last needed help crossing the street.
She called back this morning and said the color was coming up fast ...
I hennaed her "pole" hand which is very firm and calloused so it will
probably go black on her palm if she stayed warm enough. She had a
pair of fish with vines, ripples and bubbles spiralling up the
fingers, and "comprehensive happiness" in medieval Kufic script below.
I like my new glasses!
