Matching patterns?

Is it my imagination, or does the henna on one's hands continue the
pattern on the other's chest? (Sorry, I don't know the character
names.) What a cool idea, anyway - I know about matching patterns on
one's own hands or legs or whatever, continuing the pattern from
finger to finger or thumb to palm, but to have a pattern that goes
across two people on parts that *don't* immediately match - neat!
(Have seen complementary patterns on palms of couples - but this takes
it to another level.)
