: I saw somewhere on this forum people were using Zauders for
harquus.
: I bought some , the tooth blackening kind that comes in black and
: gold. The package says safe and non toxic and fragrance free. I
: bought the black and gold. All of the ingredients are not listed on
: the package and I don't think this is safe.

: On the outside of the package it says:
: Ingredient:
: Isopropyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Iron Oxide, Resin,
Hydroxypropyl
: Cellulose.

: On the bottle it says:
: Isopropyl Alcohol,Shellac,Propylene Glycol,Hydroxypropycellulose,
: May contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides

: This stuff is NOT fragrance free, it smells like nail polish. I
: painted some on my hand. It has the texture of nail polish. I had
to
: scrub hard with soap and water to get it off. I also put some on my
: fingernail. It stayed on just like nail polish. I definitely don't
: want it on my teeth and I don't want it on my skin either. I don't
: think its safe.
: Just thought I'd pass this on.

If it is for dance purposes then use waterproof liquid eyeliner. It
comes off with your normal makeup remover. Azzia makes a great hypo-
alergetic one, quite costly but worth itif you have sensitive skin.
you could also use eyeliner pencil as well. It probably was nail
polish. Just because it is marked "mehndi or henna" it sometimes not
always is. Catherine has a rant on that :) With the eyeliner you
get the same effect and easy wash off. blessings, christine
