First, I would like to say; one should never be ashamed of something
as free of hate,color, and prejudice as this expression called
mehndi.The first person to introduce me to this artform, was a lovely
Muslim woman. All the while being encouraged by her husband. To
introduce me to a culture they had fully embraced as their own, their
Muslim culture, was one of the most open hearted things these people
could ever do. The things you say are meanspirited and hurtful, not a
reflection of Mehndi at all. If this artform is truly yours, it
cannot be taken away. Why try to hold on so tightly?
