Thanks! appreciate the feedback! I think I will try cooking up a batch, then putting some in the freezer, and some in the fridge(just in case) I'll let you know if I see any difference. Incidently, I am going to be using Al Aroosa henna I found in a local Indian market. I will let you know how it turns out for me. THe color is really nice, bright green and frangrant too, so I think It is pretty fresh. I read back in the archives a few comments by some folks. I figure while I am experimenting its ok to play around with the cheap stuff. I have been sifting it and its pretty fine too, not much junk, and I am using a REALLY fine mesh! one of those metal coffee filters made to replace the paper kind on a permanent basis. : I am no chemist so I couldn't tell you if freezing would diminish : it's capacity to darken henna. I wouldn't think so. I keep a jar of : it in the fridge for weeks and it is perfectly fine. I like to do : big batches of it at a time because the smell, while wonderful in : small doses, can be quite overwhelming when done too many times.
