Some "Arundel" associations with Maryland...but really, the connection
for me was Sir Richard Burton - not to be confused with the actor. He
probably did lots more than collect Arabian Nights stories, but
details of British Empire history only become interesting to me when
they affect a good story. (I'll apologize now before I get flamed -
that was a statement of personal taste only, not meant to indicate
what's of no global importance. Since I don't know the history, I'm
not in much of a position to judge.)
