Henna and Perms

Hi everyone. I have been hennaing my hair for about a year and a half.
Since then I noticed that my hair is seemed to loose a lot of it's
curl. It could be that it has just gotten longer and the weight of my
hair has taken away some of the curl. Anyway I was wondering it
anyone here knows anything about getting a bodywave over hennaed hair.
Will it work and hold? Any info would be helpful.
